The default scale of the Raga can be customized using the Tune button. On clicking this button a separate window is displayed containing the notes for the Ascending(Aaroha) and Descending(Avroha) scales for the Raga. Each note corresponds to a string on the Swarmandal and has single and double arrows to its left and right. The single arrow moves the note up or down by one note. The double arrow moves the note up or down by an octave. A dash means that the string does not have a corresponding note.
